LONCASTUXIMAB TESIRINE (lon kas tux i mab tes ir een) is a chemotherapy medicine and monoclonal antibody. It treats certain types of lymphoma.

This medicine is infused into a vein. It is given by a health care provider in a hospital or clinic setting.
Talk to your health care provider about the use of this medicine in children. Special care may be needed.
Overdosage: If you think you have taken too much of this medicine contact a poison control center or emergency room at once.

You may need bloodwork while taking this medication.
This medication can make you more sensitive to the sun. Keep out of the sun. If you cannot avoid being in the sun, wear protective clothing and sunscreen. Do not use lamps or tanning beds/booths.
Do not become pregnant while taking this medication or for 10 months after stopping it. Talk to your care team if you or your partner wish to become pregnant or think they might be pregnant. There is a potential for serious side effects to an unborn child.
Do not breast-feed while taking this medication or for 3 months after stopping it. Tell your care team right away if you think your partner might be pregnant.
This medication may cause infertility. Talk to your care team if you are concerned about your fertility.

Keep appointments for follow-up doses. It is important not to miss your dose. Call your health care provider if you are unable to keep an appointment.

Side effects that you should report to your doctor or health care professional as soon as possible:
-allergic reactions (skin rash; itching or hives; swelling of the face, lips, or tongue)
-chest pain
-edema (sudden weight gain; swelling of the ankles, feet, hands or other unusual swelling; trouble breathing)
-high blood sugar (increased hunger, thirst, or urination; blurry vision)
-infection (fever, chills, cough, sore throat, pain or trouble passing urine)
-low red blood cell counts (feeling faint; lightheaded, falls; unusually weak or tired)
-mild skin irritation, redness, or dryness
-unusual bruising or bleeding
Side effects that usually do not require medical attention (report these to your doctor or health care professional if they continue or are bothersome):
-diarrhea
-joint pain
-muscle pain
-nausea
