    • Notes for Consumers: Do not eat grapefruit or drink grapefruit juice during ceritinib therapy. Grapefruit Juice may increase the levels of Ceritinib in your body and increase the risk of ceritinib side effects such as fast or irregular heartbeat, breathing problems, severe nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea, or other problems.
    • Notes for Professionals: Patients should not consume grapefruit and grapefruit juice during ceritinib therapy. Avoid coadministration of ceritinib with grapefruit or grapefruit juice due to increased ceritinib exposure. Ceritinib is a CYP3A4 substrate and grapefruit juice is a strong CYP3A4 inhibitor. Coadministration with another strong CYP3A4 inhibitor increased the ceritinib AUC by 2.9-fold and the Cmax by 22%.
