UBROGEPANT (ue BROE je pant) is used to treat migraine headaches with or without aura. An aura is a strange feeling or visual disturbance that warns you of an attack. It is not used to prevent migraines.
This medicine may be used for other purposes; ask your health care provider or pharmacist if you have questions.

Take this medicine by mouth with a glass of water. Follow the directions on the prescription label. You can take it with or without food. If it upsets your stomach, take it with food. Take your medicine at regular intervals. Do not take it more often than directed. Do not stop taking except on your doctor's advice.
Talk to your pediatrician about the use of this medicine in children. Special care may be needed.
Overdosage: If you think you have taken too much of this medicine contact a poison control center or emergency room at once.
NOTE: This medicine is only for you. Do not share this medicine with others.

Do not take this medicine with any of the following medicines:
-ceritinib
-certain antibiotics like chloramphenicol, clarithromycin, telithromycin
-certain antivirals for HIV like atazanavir, cobicistat, darunavir, delavirdine, fosamprenavir, indinavir, ritonavir
-certain medicines for fungal infections like itraconazole, ketoconazole, posaconazole, voriconazole
-conivaptan
-grapefruit
-idelalisib
-mifepristone
-nefazodone
-ribociclib
This medicine may also interact with the following medications:
-carvedilol
-certain medicines for seizures like phenobarbital, phenytoin
-ciprofloxacin
-cyclosporine
-eltrombopag
-fluconazole
-fluvoxamine
-quinidine
-rifampin
-St. John's wort
-verapamil

Your mouth may get dry. Chewing sugarless gum or sucking hard candy and drinking plenty of water may help. Contact your health care professional if the problem does not go away or is severe.

-drowsiness
-dry mouth
-nausea
-tiredness

Keep out of the reach of children. Store at room temperature between 15 and 30 degrees C (59 and 86 degrees F). Throw away any unused medicine after the expiration date.
