TAZEMETOSTAT (taz e met oh stat) is a medicine that targets proteins in cancer cells and stops the cancer cells from growing. It is used to treat epithelioid sarcoma and a type of non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL), follicular lymphoma.

    Notes for Consumers: Do not take Grapefruit juice with Tazemetostat without talking to your health care professional. Side effects may get worse if you drink Grapefruit juice while taking Tazemetostat. Contact your prescriber immediately if you experience new or worsening side effects, such as extreme tiredness, nausea, decreased appetite, easy bruising, fever, bone pain, or paleness.
    Notes for Professionals: Advise patients to avoid coadministration of tazemetostat with grapefuit juice as concurrent use may increase tazemetostat exposure and the frequency and severity of adverse reactions. Tazemetostat is a CYP3A4 substrate and grapefuit juice is a strong CYP3A4 inhibitor. Coadministration of a moderate CYP3A4 inhibitor increased tazemetostat exposure by 3.1-fold.
