Regorafenib 40mg, Oral tablet
• Interaction: Grapefruit juice• Severity: Major• Notes for Consumers: Do not take Regorafenib with Grapefruit Juice without talking to your prescriber. Discuss possible alternative treatment options with your health care provider. Side effects from Regorafenib may get worse if you take these together, including rash, high blood pressure, upset stomach, diarrhea, fever or chills, and sores in your mouth or throat.• Notes for Professionals: Avoid grapefruit juice while taking regorafenib due to increased plasma concentrations of regorafenib and decreased plasma concentrations of the active metabolites M-2 and M-5, which may lead to increased toxicity. Regorafenib is a CYP3A4 substrate and grapefruit juice is a strong CYP3A4 inhibitor. Coadministration with another strong CYP3A4 inhibitor increased regorafenib exposure by 33% and decreased exposure of M-2 and M-5 by 93% each.
