    Notes for Consumers: Do not take these drugs together without approval from your prescriber. Taking these drugs together can increase side effects from Medroxyprogesterone. Discuss any new or worsening side effects with your health care provider.
    Notes for Professionals: Coadministration of medroxyprogesterone, a CYP3A substrate with grapefruit juice, a strong CYP3A inhibitor should be avoided since it is expected to increase concentrations of medroxyprogesterone acetate. Formal drug interaction studies have not been conducted; however, medroxyprogesterone is metabolized primarily by hydroxylation via the CYP3A4 in vitro.
