MAGNESIUM SULFATE (mag NEE zee um SUL fate) prevents and treats low levels of magnesium in your body. It may also be used to prevent and treat seizures during pregnancy in people with high blood pressure disorders, such as preeclampsia or eclampsia. Magnesium plays an important role in maintaining the health of your muscles and nervous system.

  • Clindamycin Phosphate 6mg/1mL, Solution for injection

    Interaction: Grapefruit juice
    Severity: Moderate
    Notes for Consumers: Although an interaction is possible, Clindamycin and Grapefruit Juice may be used together with caution. Side effects may get worse if you take these drugs together. Discuss any new or worsening side effects, such as diarrhea, abdominal pain, and vomiting, with your health care provider.
    Notes for Professionals: Monitor for an increase in clindamycin-related adverse reactions with coadministration of grapefruit juice as concurrent use may increase clindamycin exposure. Clindamycin is a CYP3A4 substrate; grapefruit juice is a strong inhibitor of CYP3A4.
