    Interaction: Grapefruit juice
    Severity: Major
    Notes for Consumers: Do not take ribociclib with grapefruit or grapefruit juice. Taking these together may increase ribociclib levels and ribociclib side effects.
    Notes for Professionals: Avoid the concomitant use of ribociclib and grapefruit or grapefruit juice; the systemic exposure of ribociclib may be increased resulting in an increase in ribociclib-related adverse reactions. Ribociclib is a CYP3A4 substrate and grapefruit is a strong CYP3A inhibitor. Coadministration with another strong CYP3A4 inhibitor increased the ribociclib AUC and Cmax values by 3.2-fold and 1.7-fold, respectively, in healthy volunteers.
