    Notes for Consumers: Avoid taking Citric Acid; Sodium Citrate with foods or beverages which contain a high sodium content (such as tomato juice or processed foods). Citric Acid; Sodium Citrate contains a significant amount of sodium in the oral solution.     Notes for Professionals: Food or medicines containing a high sodium content (e.g., tomato juice) could increase the risk of complications of sodium excess when given with sodium citrate (see Adverse Reactions).
