ZANUBRUTINIB (zan ue broo ti nib) treats lymphoma. It works by blocking a protein that causes cancer cells to grow and multiply. This helps to slow or stop the spread of cancer cells.

    Notes for Consumers: Do not take Grapefruit juice or grapefruit-containing foods and Zanubrutinib together without talking to your health care provider. Side effects may get worse if you drink Grapefruit juice or consume grapefruit-containing foods while taking Zanubrutinib. Contact your prescriber immediately if you experience fever or chills, cough, sore throat, pain or trouble passing urine, unusual bleeding or bruising, chest pain, dizziness, fast or irregular heartbeat, palpitations, feeling faint or lightheaded, or breathing problems.
    Notes for Professionals: Advise patients to avoid grapefruit juice or grapefruit-containing foods while taking zanubrutinib. Coadministration may result in increased zanubrutinib exposure and toxicity (e.g., infection, bleeding, and atrial arrhythmias). Zanubrutinib is a CYP3A4 substrate; grapefruit juice is a strong CYP3A4 inhibitor. The AUC of zanubrutinib was increased by 278% when coadministered with another strong CYP3A4 inhibitor.
