• Interaction: Grapefruit juice• Severity: Major• Notes for Consumers: Do not eat grapefruit or drink grapefruit juice while taking Lurbinectedin. Side effects from Lurbinectedin may get worse if you take these drugs together. Notify your health care professional if you have any new or unusual side effects, including nausea, vomiting, signs and symptoms of liver injury like dark yellow or brown urine; general ill feeling or flu-like symptoms; light-colored stools; loss of appetite; nausea; right upper belly pain; unusually weak or tired; yellowing of the eyes or skin, or signs and symptoms of infection like fever; chills; cough; sore throat; pain or trouble passing urine.• Notes for Professionals: Advise patients to avoid grapefruit and grapefruit juice due to increased lurbinectedin exposure resulting in treatment-related adverse events. Lurbinectedin is a CYP3A substrate and lurbinectedin is a strong CYP3A inhibitor.
