    • Interaction: Grapefruit juice
    • Severity: Major
    • Notes for Consumers: Do not take Grapefruit Juice with Trabectedin. Side effects from Trabectedin may get worse if you take Grapefruit Juice. Discuss any new or worsening side effects with your health care provider.
    • Notes for Professionals: Avoid the concomitant use of trabectedin with grapefruit juice due to the risk of increased trabectedin exposure. Trabectedin is a CYP3A substrate and grapefruit juice is a strong CYP3A inhibitor. Coadministration with another strong CYP3A inhibitor increased the systemic exposure of a single dose of trabectedin (0.58 mg/m2 IV) by 66% compared to a single dose of trabectedin (1.3 mg/m2) given alone.
