VONOPRAZAN; AMOXICILLIN; CLARITHROMYCIN (von OH pra zan; a mox i SIL in; kla RITH roe mye sin) PACK treats a bacterial infection that can cause stomach ulcers or other conditions. It is a combination of a potassium-competitive acid blocker (PCAB), a penicillin antibiotic, and a macrolide antibiotic.
VONOPRAZAN; AMOXICILLIN; CLARITHROMYCIN (von OH pra zan; a mox i SIL in; kla RITH roe mye sin) PACK treats a bacterial infection that can cause stomach ulcers or other conditions. It is a combination of a potassium-competitive acid blocker (PCAB), a penicillin antibiotic, and a macrolide antibiotic.
This medicine may be used for other purposes; ask your health care provider or pharmacist if you have questions.
Take this medication by mouth with water. Take it as directed on the prescription label. You can take it with or without food. If it upsets your stomach, take it with food. Take your medication at regular intervals. Do not take your medication more often than directed. Take all of your medication as directed even if you think you are better. Do not skip doses or stop your medication early.
Talk to your care team about the use of this medicine in children. Special care may be needed.
Overdosage: If you think you have taken too much of this medicine contact a poison control center or emergency room at once.

This list may not describe all possible interactions. Give your health care provider a list of all the medicines, herbs, non-prescription drugs, or dietary supplements you use. Also tell them if you smoke, drink alcohol, or use illegal drugs. Some items may interact with your medicine.
Visit your care team for regular checks on your progress. Tell your care team if your symptoms do not start to get better or if they get worse.
Do not treat diarrhea with over the counter products. Contact your care team if you have diarrhea that lasts more than 2 days or if it is severe and watery.
This medication may cause serious skin reactions. They can happen weeks to months after starting the medication. Contact your care team right away if you notice fevers or flu-like symptoms with a rash. The rash may be red or purple and then turn into blisters or peeling of the skin. Or, you might notice a red rash with swelling of the face, lips or lymph nodes in your neck or under your arms.
If you have diabetes, you may get a false-positive result for sugar in your urine. Check with your care team.
Birth control may not work properly while you are taking this medication. Talk to your care team about using an extra method of birth control.
Women should inform their care team if they wish to become pregnant or think they might be pregnant. There is potential for serious harm to an unborn child. Talk to your care team for more information.
Do not breast-feed an infant while taking this medication.
This medication may make it more difficult to father a child. Talk to your care team if you are concerned about your fertility.
If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you can unless it is more than 4 hours late. If it is more than 4 hours late, skip the missed dose. Take the next dose at the normal time.

Keep out of the reach of children and pets.
Store at room temperature between 20 and 25 degrees C (68 and 77 degrees F). Protect from light. Keep this medication in the original packaging until you are ready to take it. Get rid of any unused medication after the expiration date.
To get rid of medications that are no longer needed or have expired:
-Take the medication to a medication take-back program. Check with your pharmacy or law enforcement to find a location.
-If you cannot return the medication, check the label or package insert to see if the medication should be thrown out in the garbage or flushed down the toilet. If you are not sure, ask your care team. If it is safe to put it in the trash, take the medication out of the container. Mix the medication with cat litter, dirt, coffee grounds, or other unwanted substance. Seal the mixture in a bag or container. Put it in the trash.
