Vardenafil Hydrochloride 20mg, Oral tablet
• Interaction: Grapefruit juice• Severity: Major• Notes for Consumers: Do not consume grapefruit or grapefruit juice with Vardenafil without talking to your health care provider. Side effects from Vardenafil may get worse if you eat grapefruit or drink grapefruit juice. Your health care provider may need to decrease your dose of Vardenafil; do not adjust the dose by yourself. Discuss any new or worsening side effects, such as dizziness, faintness on standing, or prolonged erection with your health care provider.• Notes for Professionals: Grapefruit and grapefruit juice should be avoided during treatment with vardenafil orally disintegrating tablets due to increased vardenafil exposure; do not exceed a single dose of 5 mg per 24-hour period of vardenafil oral tablets. Vardenafil is primarily metabolized by CYP3A4/5; grapefruit juice is a moderate CYP3A4 inhibitor. Coadministration with another moderate CYP3A4 inhibitor increased the AUC of vardenafil by 4-fold.
