SODIUM CHLORIDE (Generic for HYPER-SAL)

This medicine is for inhalation using a nebulizer. Do not take by mouth or swallow. Nebulizers make a liquid into an aerosol that you breathe in through your mouth or your mouth and nose and into your lungs. You will be taught how to use your nebulizer. Follow the directions on your prescription label. Do not use more than directed. Take all of your medicine as directed even if you think you are better. Do not skip doses or stop your medicine early.
 
Talk to your pediatrician regarding the use of this medicine in children. While this drug may be prescribed for children as young as infants for selected conditions, precautions do apply.

Overdosage: If you think you have taken too much of this medicine contact a poison control center or emergency room at once.
NOTE: This medicine is only for you. Do not share this medicine with others.

Visit your health care professional for regular checks on your progress. Tell your health care professional if your symptoms do not start to get better or if they get worse.

If you miss a dose, use it as soon as you can. If it is almost time for your next dose, use only that dose. Do not use double or extra doses.

Store unopened at room temperature between 15 and 30 degrees C (50 and 86 degrees F). Do not freeze. Protect from heat. Keep in the original container until ready to use. Throw away any unopened, unused medicine after the expiration date.
 
Once you open a vial, use it immediately. Discard any unused contents. This solution should be clear and colorless. If it is not, do not use it.
