This medication is for external use only. It is applied by your care team in a hospital or clinic setting.

What should I watch for while using this medication?

Your condition will be monitored carefully while you are receiving this medication. Your blood pressure may go up during the procedure.
Do not touch the medication patch during treatment. This medication causes red, burning skin. You may need pain medication for during and after the procedure.
This medication can make you more sensitive to heat for a few days after treatment. Be careful in hot showers or baths. Keep out of the sun. Exercise may make the treated skin feel hotter.
Tell your care team if your symptoms do not start to get better or if they get worse.

-Allergic reactions—skin rash, itching, hives, swelling of the face, lips, tongue, or throat

-Mild skin irritation, redness, or dryness
