Ripretinib 50mg, Oral tablet
• Interaction: Grapefruit juice• Severity: Major• Notes for Consumers: Do not drink grapefruit juice while taking Ripretinib. Side effects from Ripretinib may get worse if you do. Contact your health care provider if you experience extreme tiredness, swelling of your legs or ankles, shortness of breath, increased blood pressure, diarrhea, muscle pain, rash or irritation on hands and feet, or other new or worsening effects.• Notes for Professionals: Advise patients to avoid grapefruit juice while taking Ripretinib. Coadministration may increase the exposure of ripretinib and its active metabolite (DP-5439), which may increase the risk of adverse reactions. Ripretinib and DP-5439 are metabolized by CYP3A4 and grapefruit juice is a strong CYP3A4 inhibitor. Coadministration with another strong CYP3A4 inhibitor increased ripretinib and DP-5439 exposure by 99%.
