• Interaction: Alcohol• Severity: Major• Notes for Consumers: Do not drink Alcohol-containing drinks while you are receiving Ziconotide. You may feel drowsy or more tired if you take these agents together. Side effects from Ziconotide may get worse if you drink Alcohol-containing drinks.• Notes for Professionals: The use of ethanol should be avoided in patients who are receiving ziconotide. Ethanol and other CNS depressant medications may increase drowsiness, dizziness, and confusion that are associated with ziconotide.
