    Notes for Consumers: You may wish to limit the intake of Alcoholic beverages while taking Nilutamide. Taking Alcohol with Nilutamide can cause reactions like facial flushing, dizziness (especially on standing), or generally feeling unwell. You may also feel drowsy or more tired when taking these drugs together. Do not drive or operate machinery if you have been drinking alcohol.
    Notes for Professionals: Ethanol intolerance has been reported in about 5 percent of patients treated with nilutamide. Facial flushing, malaise, and hypotension may occur following ingestion of nilutamide with ethanol. The mechanism of this interaction is not known. It is recommended that intake of alcoholic beverages be avoided by patients who experience this reaction while taking nilutamide.
