Quick Start Guides

Prescription prices will often fall at neighboring pharmacies. However, in spite of this being a common occurrence, most patients never know when it happens. ScriptSave WelRx can help.

Set-up A Price-drop Alert. A Quick-start Guide, from “ScriptSave University”

You can create a “Price-drop Alert” for any medication and we will alert you when that particular drug falls in price at the other pharmacies near you.

Just like most things at ScriptSave WellRx, it’s fast, easy and FREE to use this feature.

How to Set Up a Price-drop Alert

  • Step 1. Search for your medication on WellRx.com. You can do this directly from our homepage or by using the “Price Drugs” button in the upper-right corner of any other page on the website.
  • Step 2. After searching for your medication, click “Set Price Alert” (see screenshot below).

  • Step 3. Select a maximum price for your medication. We’ll send you alerts when the price for the selected medication drops below the maximum you set.
  • Step 4. Fill in your email address and choose which pharmacies to receive alerts for.
    • You can get price drop notifications from any/all participating pharmacies, or at just one particular pharmacy if you’re only interested in using one specific location.
  • Step 5. Once you’ve filled out the necessary information, we’ll email you if we ever negotiate a new lower price for that drug at any of the pharmacies near you.

Insider Tip:

Because pharmacies usually charge different prices for the same drugs, it is often possible to maximize your savings by filling your different prescriptions at different pharmacies. If you take more than one medication, you may be able to get a lower overall out-of-pocket cost by using more than one pharmacy.
