    • Notes for Consumers: Take Deferasirox with water or juice only, on an empty stomach. Taking this drug with food may change how well it works for you. It is recommended to take Deferasirox at least 30 minutes before any other beverage, food, or other medication for the day.
    • Notes for Professionals: The bioavailability (AUC) of deferasirox was variably increased when administered with food. Deferasirox should be taken on an empty stomach 30 minutes before eating. Deferasirox tablets for oral suspension can be dispersed in water, orange juice, or apple juice.
