CANAKINUMAB (can a KIN ue mab) is used to treat certain types of arthritis in children and adults, such as Still's disease. It is also used to treat rare periodic fever syndromes including cryopyrin-associated periodic syndromes (CAPS), tumor necrosis factor receptor associated periodic syndrome (TRAPS), hyperimmunoglobulin D syndrome (HIDS)/mevalonate kinase deficiency (MKD), and familial Mediterranean fever (FMF). This medicine is not a cure.

    Notes for Consumers: In general, it is recommended that you avoid Alcoholic drinks while you are taking Tizanidine. Alcohol may increase the risk of side effects due to tizanidine. Decreased alertness, dizziness, drowsiness, low blood pressure, falls, or other side effects may occur. Do not drive or operate machinery if you are drinking alcohol-containing beverages.
    Notes for Professionals: Concurrent use of tizanidine and CNS depressants can cause additive CNS depression. It is best to limit the use of alcohol during treatment, due to additive drowsiness and dizziness. Hypotension may occur. Alcohol increases the overall amount of drug in the bloodstream after a dose of tizanidine. Ethanol increases the AUC and Cmax of tizanidine by about 20% and 15%, respectively, resulting in an increase in side effects associated with tizanidine.
