• Interaction: Food• Severity: Mild• Notes for Consumers: The amount of Tolmetin that gets into your body is lower when taken with Food or milk. Try to take Tolmetin on an empty stomach with a glass of water. If Tolmetin bothers your stomach, you may take an antacid containing magnesium or aluminum hydroxide. Do not take a sodium bicarbonate-containing antacid. Sodium Bicarbonate is found in some antacids.• Notes for Professionals: The bioavailability of tolmetin is reduced when given with food or milk.
