GLUCOSE (GLOO kohs) is used to treat low blood sugar.
This medicine may be used for other purposes; ask your health care provider or pharmacist if you have questions.

Take this medicine by mouth with a glass of water. Take it as directed on the product label. Do not take your medicine more often than directed.
Talk to your pediatrician regarding the use of this medicine in children. Special care may be needed.
Overdosage: If you think you have taken too much of this medicine contact a poison control center or emergency room at once.
NOTE: This medicine is only for you. Do not share this medicine with others.

If you still have low blood sugar after taking 2 doses of this medicine, contact your health care provider.
Make sure others know that you can choke if you eat or drink when you develop serious symptoms of low blood sugar, such as seizures or unconsciousness. Get medical help at once.
Wear a medical ID bracelet or chain. Carry a card that describes your condition. List the medicines and doses you take on the card.

-allergic reactions (skin rash, itching or hives; swelling of the face, lips, or tongue)
Side effects that usually do not require medical attention (report these to your doctor or health care professional if they continue or are bothersome):
-high blood sugar (increased hunger, thirst or urination; unusually weak or tired, blurry vision)

Keep out of the reach of children and pets.
Store in a cool, dry place at room temperature. Throw away any unused medicine after the expiration date.
