• Interaction: Food• Severity: Mild• Notes for Consumers: After applying stannous fluoride to your teeth, do not eat, drink, or rinse your mouth for at least 30 minutes. Do not reuse the rinse or gel if you forget. Waiting to eat and drink may help the fluoride work a little better.• Notes for Professionals: Eating food, drinking fluid, or rinsing the mouth should be avoided for at least 30 minutes after use. Waiting to eat and drink may extend the benefits of stannous fluoride.
