· Notes for Consumers: Drinking alcoholic beverages while taking Clevidipine may cause a large, unexpected drop in blood pressure. Your blood pressure should be monitored regularly. Report any symptoms of low blood pressure to your doctor such as drowsiness, dizziness, fainting, increased heart rate, lightheadedness, palpitations, and confusion.

· Notes for Professionals: Ethanol interacts with antihypertensive agents, such as clevidipine, by potentiating their hypotensive effect.
