LACTOBACILLUS (lak toh buh SIL uhs) is a supplement. It is used to help the normal balance of bacteria in the colon. This may treat or prevent diarrhea caused by an infection or by antibiotics. The FDA has not approved this supplement for any medical use.

Take this supplement by mouth with a small amount of milk, fruit juice, or water. Follow the directions on the package labeling, or take as directed by your care team. This supplement can be taken with cereal or other food. Do not take this supplement more often than directed.
Contact your care team about the use of this supplement in children. Special care may be needed. This supplement is not recommended for children under 3 years old unless prescribed by a care team.
Overdosage: If you think you have taken too much of this medicine contact a poison control center or emergency room at once.

•unusually weak or tired
